Our material is of prime quality and is fully certifiable to orthopedic (ASTM F-136, F167 and F1472), aerospace (AMS, Mil-T) and industrial specifications (ASTM and ASME). Supra Alloys has experienced operators that deal with complex operations such as titanium machining and titanium processing.

• The bar, rod and wire products on our titanium stock include CP Grade 1 – designed for excellent weldability and impact toughness, CP Grade 2, CP Grade 3 – used where corrosion resistance is a major design factor, such as when creating aircraft quality titanium, CP Grade 4, Grade 7 and Grade 11, as well as titanium alloys. Supra Alloys’ inventory contains 6Al-4V or Grade 5, 6Al-4V ELI or Grade 23, Grade 12, 5Al-2.5Sn, 6Al-2Sn-4Z1-2Mo, 15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al and many other titanium and titanium alloys bar, rod and wire. All bar is supplied in standard 10-14foot mill random length, except special shipping or customer requirements.

Monel Wire is made of excellent combination of nickel and copper, offers exceptionally high corrosion resistance in the normal conditions and it has refined wear - ability to warm and dense alkali as well as neutral solution. It has high tensile strength and used in marine applications and hydrocarbon treatment

Specification:

Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy (about 67% Ni – 23% Cu) that is resistant to sea water and steam at high temperatures as well as to salt and caustic solutions. Alloy 400 is a solid solution alloy that can only be hardened by cold working. This nickel alloy exhibits characteristics like good corrosion resistance, good weldability and high strength. A low corrosion rate in rapidly flowing brackish or seawater combined with excellent resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in most freshwaters, and its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions led to its wide use in marine applications and other non-oxidizing chloride solutions. This nickel alloy is particularly resistant to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids when they are de-aerated. As would be expected from its high copper content, alloy 400 is rapidly attacked by nitric acid and ammonia systems.

Monel 400 has great mechanical properties at subzero temperatures, can be used in temperatures up to 1000° F, and its melting point is 2370-2460° F.
